Ric is responsible for providing fixed income strategies and solutions to portfolio managers of community banks, trust departments, and other institutional clients. Ric has over 28 years of experience in fixed income sales with an emphasis on mortgage backed securities and CMO's. Prior to joining First Trust, Ric held roles as the National Sales Manager for RBC Capital Markets, as well as the Head Sales Manager for Dain Bosworth and Clayton Brown & Associates. In addition to his fixed income experience, Ric also served as a partner/owner at Trinity Research and Investing LLC where he was responsible for investing fund assets in community bank stocks. The experience at Trinity provided Ric a thorough understanding and appreciation for community banking investment strategies. Ric is a graduate of Wheaton College where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics.
Tim joined First Trust in August of 2008. Prior to joining First Trust, Tim spent time as a treasury futures trader at Asymmetric Bond Markets. Tim joined the Institutional Capital Markets team after completing the Rotational Training Program at First Trust. Tim has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics from Wheaton College.

Colin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), Certified Valuation Analysts (CVA) and Construction Industry Technician (CIT) certification. He has been in public accounting since 2000. He graduated from Catholic High School in Little Rock. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Economics and Master of Arts in Accounting from Hendrix College in Conway. Colin was an infantryman in the United States Marine Corps Reserve. He was called to active duty in 2003 and spent seven months in Iraq leading foot and mechanized patrols. He received a meritorious field promotion to Sergeant, a Combat Action Ribbon, and a Presidential Unit Citation along with other medals while serving in Iraq. Although he has extensive experience in many areas of taxation, accounting, and financial management, he has specialized experience with construction accounting, small businesses, and estate and trust planning. Colin served as Treasurer for the Associated Builders & Contractors of Arkansas for many years and was Chairman of the Board in 2012, is a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Marine Corps League, and several other professional and trade organizations. The firm is a member of the Bryant Chamber of Commerce.Long earned his Bachelor of Arts in business and economics with a concentration in business finance and is currently pursuing his master’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania.
